Repsol service stations are a leading example in diversity management and in the integration of workers with different abilities. For more than two years Repsol has been promoting a committed and supportive model of social coexistence, improving people's quality of life and helping to bring about the social integration of groups that are most disadvantaged or most at risk of exclusion.
Repsol currently has more than 348 workers with different abilities among its workforce, since the first incorporation on June 1, 1990, complying with Law 13/1982 of 7 April on the integration of workers with disabilities. Its medium-term goal is to have a workforce of 500 differently-abled employees.
The aim, therefore, is to have service stations that are accessible to all types of people with or without disabilities, improving processes in such a way as to avoid all possible restrictions or barriers that could prevent access to and use of the facilities.
Repsol has 150 accessible service stations. The new service station in Mostoles is another step forward in this project. It is the first service station in Spain with UNE 170.001-2 certification, thus creating an environment that meets the DALCO accessibility requirements (Deambulation, Apprehension, Location and Communication) and the applicable regulatory requirements.

The service station is being managed by ten retail/sales staff with different abilities, who have received training for their roles through an occupational training course given by the Commercial Training Centre. The aim of all of this is to contribute to their professional future and to guarantee their optimum integration into the company.
Repsol service stations are committed to respecting diversity, as well as to strengthening and developing it. For this reason they strive to uphold equal opportunities for all employees and respect for the individual. The way the Móstoles service station is managed is a benchmark in this respect and it also promotes the clear goal of equal opportunities, responding to a firm commitment to social responsibility.
